The Zimbabwe Guitar project, founded by Allan Kapeta, is on a mission to celebrate and preserve the diverse guitar styles of Zimbabwe!
​For our debut edition on 15 August, Zimbabwe Guitar is proud to partner with the Zimbabwe College of Music and Mbiravolution for an immersive guitar workshop.
​This first session delves deep into the iconic Chimurenga guitar style, taking a deep dive into the classic song Nhemamusasa.
​We are honored to feature an extraordinary lineup of facilitators:
​Clive "Mono" Mukundu – Renowned Zimbabwean guitarist & producer
​Allan Kapeta – Phenomenal guitar instructor
​Hector Mugani – Ethnomusicologist
